- SCP-001 is a large, reinforced vehicle, resembling a modified shipping container, created by Prometheus Labs as "Project Backaway." It functions as a prototype time machine, though its primary time travel function requires an energy source that doesn't exist in our world. While mostly sealed off, its cockpit contains controls for basic functions like internal lighting, air conditioning, and even some simple computer games. This vehicle is kept in a bunker and is intended to be used only in the event of major, world-ending catastrophes.

- The Kanamara Matsuri, or "Festival of the Steel Phallus," is an annual Japanese Shinto festival held each spring at the Kanayama Shrine in Kawasaki, Japan, typically on the first Sunday in April. The festival celebrates the gods Kanayama-hiko and Kanayama-hime, who are associated with blacksmithing, metalworking, easy childbirth, marital harmony, and protection from sexually transmitted infections. Central to the event are phallus-shaped items, including illustrations, candy, and three distinct portable shrines (mikoshi) carried in a parade. Originating in 1969, the festival has evolved into a popular tourist attraction and now serves as a fundraiser for HIV research.
